Lenin Avenue has remained the main street of Yekaterinburg for centuries, and many attractions are located here. We suggest you take a walk along Lenin Avenue from Weiner Street to the Opera and Ballet Theater. The distance of this walk will be 1.3 kilometers.

The pedestrian street of Weiner is one of the most favorite places for locals and tourists. The length of its pedestrian part is 300 meters. On 1905 Square, see the City Administration building, as well as a large Monument to Lenin.

Then go towards the City Pond. Here, in the 18th century, a dam was made on the Iset River, and a copper smelter was founded on the shore of the pond. The city of Yekaterinburg appeared around it. The Dam and the City Pond have become the main attractions of the city. Sevastyanov House stands on the bank of the pond. It is impossible to visit it, since it is the residence of the President of the Russian Federation.

In the neighborhood of Sevastyanov House there is a Museum of the History of Stone-cutting Art. It is necessary to visit it in order to get acquainted with the history of processing Ural stones. After that, walk along Lenin Avenue to the Vysotsky Skyscraper.  On its top floor there is an observation deck with a magnificent view of the center of Yekaterinburg.

From the Vysotsky Skyscraper, go further towards the Opera and Ballet Theater. In this place on Lenin Avenue, buildings built in the 1920s in the architectural style of constructivism have been preserved.
