This Eastern Europe country is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Europe. The capital of Czechia, Prague, is considered to be one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. And the country is always associated with comfort and famous Czech beer, as well as quite medieval lanes.

First of all almost every tourist want to go from Staromestskaya Ploschad over Charles Bridge and to Prazhsky Grad. As all the main sights of the city are concentrated along the tourist route.

The main square of Prague, Staromestskaya Ploschad (Old Town Square) is surrounded by most beautiful temples and buildings. Prague Orloj or famous astronomical clock is on one of the towers. You can not tell the time by it, but every hour crowds of tourists are gathering there to see the performance.

From the Square you can go to Charles Bridge which is the symbol of Prague. It was constructed in 14th century and is often considered to be one of the most astonishing bridges in Europe. Beautiful towers are at both ends of the bridge, and numerous statues of saints are installed all along its length. By way of one tower you can go to St. Nicholas Cathedral and then to Prazhsky Grad atop the hill.

Now, Prazhsky Grad is a residence of the President of the Czech Republic. The main temple of the country, St. Vitus Cathedral, is located there, as well as most wonderful sights of Czechia, such as Golden Lane, which tiny houses look as if they were built by dwarfs.

Taking into account small territory of Czechia, the other interesting sights of the country are only short trips of Prague. You can go to Karlovy Vary and Cesky Krumlov. Karlovy Vary (also known as Carlsbad) is one of the most popular European health resorts, and Cesky Krumlov is actually a castle city with fully preserved medieval Old Town.

Czechia has many beautiful castles. The most famous castle is in Karlstein which is an hour trip of Prague. The other castles are scattered over the entire country: Pernstein, Hluboka-nad Vltavou, Sternberg, Strekov, and Konopiste.
