View point above Yenisei river is located in the road from Krasnoyarsk to Divnogorsk. You must stop by the village Ovsyanka at the 23rd kilometer of the road.  The so-called Seleznevsky cliff overhangs the river there.

In the 70th of the past century it was decided to make a convenient approach to the cliff and create there a lookout from where one could enjoy a view on the Yenisei river in all its beauty.

A prominent Soviet and Russian writer Victor Astafyev was born and lived in Ovsyanka. In 1978 he was awarded the USSR State Prize for the story «King Fish» and in 2004, three years after his death, it was decided to install a sculpture of a sturgeon in honor of this story on the lookout.
