ecotourismThe list of 10 most popular "green" tourist destinations for 2012, including Jordan, Borneo, Philippines, Belize, Botswana and some other countries, has been published, reports Geo Meridian portal.

In Jordan you can go on a safari, see the Arabian oryxes – the vanishing species of antelopes, or make a trip to the Dana National Park.

In addition to wonderful beaches, difficult to access jungles is also one of the attractive features of Borneo. There are a lot of exotic animals and over 5 000 of rare plants in the jungles. Tourists are advised to set out on a trip to such infrequently visited places as Kinabalu Mount, and the region of the Kinabatangang River.
