09.12.2011 Christmas bazaar opens in one of medieval Czech towns

Starting from the following week-end, the events devoted to the oncoming Christmas will begin at Český Krumlov, a small Czech town located 145 kilometers of Prague, reports Geo Meridian portal.

So, beginning from December 10, the Christmas bazaar will be open in the city every Saturday and Sunday. As well, there will conducted various Christmas events related to Czech traditions, for example, fortune-telling, puppet show booths and Christmas carols.

During these events the guests of the town can get acquainted with Czech people's traditions of celebrating Christmas, and visit the museum and tower of the local castle, which are included in UNESCO Heritage List and generally closed in the winter.
