16.12.2011 Long-awaited reopening of Helsinki Winter Garden

Talvipuutarha, the famous Winter Garden of Helsinki (Finland) will reopen its doors in February, 2012, reports Geo Meridian portal.

Three rooms of this old Winter Garden, which was created at the end of 19th century, contain a large collection of various plants, such as flowering aloes, magnolias, azaleas, cactuses, palms, etc.

Also, subject exhibitions and shows corresponding to the current season, are held at the winter garden. The entrance is free of charge.
