11.05.2012 New hammam opened in Istanbul

Ayasofya Hurrem Sultan Hamami opened in the restored baths building of the 16th century in Istanbul, reports Geo Meridian portal.

The building is not far from such world-famous sights as the Blue Mosque and St. Sophia's Cathedral. After the restoration this hammam became one of the most luxurious establishments of its king in Istanbul. Bath rooms are faced with marble and rest rooms and locker rooms – with cedar. Apart from such common procedures as soap massage and scrubbing, you can test the effects of various masks, aromatherapy and some other procedures.

Also the cost of some procedures (from $90) includes traditional Turkish dainties and fruits from the restaurant with an open terrace located on the territory of the bath complex.
