The museum of honey opened at the city of Colmenar located 400 kilometers to the south of Madrid, reports Geo Meridian portal.

Colmenar ("apiary" in Spanish) has long traditions of bee-farming, and local beekeepers offered to create a museum devoted to this unique product at this Spanish city.

The museum exposition, occupying an ancient building, includes bee-farming books, beginning from 18 century, as well as beehives and various devices for bee-farming from different periods.
