21.06.2012 Southern Gardens of Prague Castle again opened for visiting

Southern Gardens of Prague Castle were opened for visiting on June 20, reports Geo Meridian portal.

For two years the gardens were under restoration. Particularly, the restorers reconstructed the original view of the damaged observation point, refreshed the pavilions, statues and the other stone decorations. From the gardens one can have a picturesque view of the Old Town and the Lesser Quarter. The natives and the guests of Prague can see the Paradise Garden, Garden on the Ramparts and Khartigovsky Garden. By the way, the latter was created by the well-known Czech architect Joze Plecnik.
