24.12.2012 Giant skiing village to be soon open in Denmark

Danish architectural studio CEBRA offered the project of the world's biggest skiing park called Skidome in the Danish town Randers, reports Geo Meridian portal.

The future park will take up the area of 100 000 square meters, which resembles a snowflake forming three overlapping arches. The park will have six indoor and two outdoor slopes with total length of over three kilometers. The park will use the snow of its own production, as well as environmentally friendly energy, provided by a geothermal installation and solar panels.

Besides skiing runs, it is planned to build restaurants, bars, shops, hotels and so on the territory of this skiing village.
