01.04.2013 Exotic animals appeared in the park of Kaliningrad

Exotic animals exhibition was opened in Kaliningrad, reports Geo Meridian portal.

The animals were located in the unique building of 19 century called the "Goring's dacha", at the central city park. It was brought there from the Vishtynetskiy (Red) Forest. At present there are about 30 rare animals including lizards, snakes, and one chameleon, but their number will grow.

All historical sites of Kaliningrad are related to the history and culture of Germany, as it has got its today name only after World War II, and before that time it was called Koenigsberg. The most significant historical sites of the city are the Cathedral of Kaliningrad in Kneiphof and the Fishing Village.
