12.04.2013 Bunker of Mussolini will open in Rome

The bunker of Mussolini will be opened for tourists in Rome this autumn, reports Geo Meridian portal.

The bunker of 80 square meters is at the depth of 16 meters under the Palace of Venice in the capital of Italy. Its walls of reinforced concrete are 2 meters thick. In spite of complete absence of any ventilation system, the bunker is excellently aired, although the source of fresh air wasn’t found. However, the former builders probably had no time to install the electricity equipment and water carriage system.

Sometime the “eternal city” Rome was the capital of the mighty Roman Empire. Until nowadays there survived a lot of historic sites. The most famous of them are the Roman forum and the Coliseum.
