Start your acquaintance with Moscow from the most important and most famous place in Moscow – red Square. At the foot of the Kremlin wall is the Lenin Mausoleum. It has been storing Lenin's embalmed body for almost 100 years. On the opposite side from the Kremlin is the Gum building (one of the oldest shopping centers in Moscow), which was built in 1893.

In the distance, you can see the most famous Cathedral, the symbol of Moscow-St. Basil's Cathedral. Walk along red Square to it. The Cathedral looks very beautiful from a variety of angles. If you have time, go inside to see the interior of the Russian Cathedral of the 16th century.

From St. Basil's Cathedral, go back along Red Square and go around the Historical Museum on the left side, turn into the Alexander garden. Here is the Grave of the Unknown Soldier, where every hour there is a change of the guard of honor. There are many monuments in the garden itself.

In the white Kutafya tower is the entrance to the Moscow Kremlin. However, it takes 2-3 hours to examine it, although it is better to allocate more time. After passing along the glass Kremlin Palace, go to the Cathedral square. On four sides of the square are the Assumption Cathedral, the Archangel Cathedral, the Ivan the Great bell Tower, the Annunciation Cathedral, and the Faceted Chamber. The entrance ticket to the Kremlin allows you to visit the cathedrals inside, be sure to do it.

Cross the road at the Annunciation Cathedral, and go to the Tainitsky Garden. After walking through the garden, go back to the Ivan the Great bell Tower and see the Tsar Bell at its foot, then go to the Tsar Cannon. At this point, the visit to the Moscow Kremlin can be considered complete and after leaving the Kutafya Tower, go through the Alexander garden along the long building of the Manege, and then go to the Moscow Hotel on Manezh square.

After going around the Moscow hotel on the right side, you will go to Manezhnaya Square. On the opposite side of Okhotny Ryad street is the Bolshoi Theater-the most famous theater in Russia.
