The city of Sochi stretches for several tens of kilometers along the Black Sea coast. It is divided between four main districts: Lazarevskoye, Central, Khosta, and Adler. Walking between them is not possible.
The Central district of Sochi is a large city and people come here only to see the Sochi Arboretum. You can also walk along the embankment to the Sea station.
In Khosta there is a Tiso-boxwood grove. This is a relict primeval forest that has been preserved in some gorges near Sochi. Tiso-boxwood grove is the most accessible. It is included in the Caucasus biosphere reserve.
Resort infrastructure in Soviet times was created in Adler. There was built a complex of hotels, which was called the Resort town. Now all these hotels are working and new ones have been built. There is an amusement Park and the largest Aquarium on the black sea coast. If you go even further to the Mzymta river, then the Sochi district of Adler is located directly here. Across the Mzymta river is the Olympic Park.
