Take the Novopriozersky Highway out of St. Petersburg and head north along the eastern shore of Lake Ladoga. 150 kilometers away, you can make your first stop in the city of Priozersk. You can make a short stop to see the fortress of Korela, or stay here longer to see the other temples of the city and the Recreation Park on the shore of Lake Vuoksa.

20 kilometers from Priokhersk is the village of Berezovskoye. The territory of the Ladoga Skerries Nature Reserve begins here. In Berezovsky, you can take a boat and explore the island of Montosaari, climb the mountain Rullahdenvuori.
