An excursion to Sukko will allow you to see the beautiful nature of the low mountains, which then grow into the Great Caucasian Ridge. In Anapa, of the natural attractions there are only sand dunes in Vityazevo or on the Bugaz spit. However, on the eastern outskirts of Anapa you will see a sign that "The Caucasus Mountains begin here." You will see these beautiful mountains overgrown with juniper in the village of Sukko. It is located just 20 km from Anapa.
Usually tourists go to Sukko to visit the Cypress Lake. This is one of the most interesting natural attractions in the vicinity of Anapa. However, you can plan a whole day for relaxing and swimming at Sukko Beach. Here the beach is covered with small pebbles, so there is no kamka algae, which annoys tourists on the beaches of Anapa.
You can visit Cypress Lake first and then swim on the beach or vice versa. You can drive up to the lake by car and then rent a boat to swim close to the cypresses. Then you can spend a few hours on Sukko Beach, enjoying the clear sea water.
Two mountains (high hills) rise above the beach. Soldatskaya Mountain rises from the south-eastern side, and from the north-western side: Economic Mountain. You can climb the Economic Mountain directly from the beach. If you go towards Varvarovka, then in the distance you will see thickets of juniper trees. It is impossible to climb Soldatskaya Mountain from the beach. You need to drive towards the village of Big Utrish. At the turn near the pavilion, a path begins. Here you will see beautiful thickets of juniper trees.
