During the excursion to the Utrish Nature Reserve, you can see the rocky mountains, ancient junipers and the beautiful nature of the foothills of the Greater Caucasus Range. After visiting the reserve, you can relax on the beach of the village of Big Utrish, as well as visit the Utrish Dolphinarium.
Free access to the Utrish Nature Reserve is prohibited. In the summer, excursions along the most popular Canyon route are held several times a week. You should call the reserve's excursion department in advance (tel. +79996320403 ) and book a place in the group.
The gathering of the group takes place near the turnoff to the Big Utrish Yacht Club. First you will go to the juniper forest. There are junipers there, which are up to 700 years old. Next, you will go to the Grand Canyon of the Utrish Nature Reserve and after that you will go to the Black Sea coast near the bay called the First Lagoon.
After that, the group returns to the village of Big Utrish. If you visited the reserve during the morning tour, you will have plenty of time to have lunch in the village and swim on the pebble beach. There is a closed bay in the center of the village, where a dolphinarium was opened in the 1960s. This is the first dolphinarium that started working for the entertainment of tourists.
