The Mzymta River flows from Red Glade village, however, in this tour we suggest you take the old road to visit three interesting places:

1. Skypark
2. The Akhshtyr Cave
3. Dragon's Mouth Canyon

Drive along the old road to Red Glade to have fun in the Skypark extreme amusement park. This is a great addition to a beach holiday in Sochi. Here you can walk along the suspension bridge, as well as test yourself on numerous extreme attractions.

You can spend the whole day in the Skypark, but you can also plan to visit the natural attractions located nearby. 500 meters from the Skypark parking, you will pass the turnoff to the Akhshtyr Cave. Here you can make a short stop to see the beautiful view of the Gorge of the Mzymta River, as well as visit the cave where the ancient people lived.

The first people settled in the Akhshtyr cave about 112,000 years BC. They were Neanderthals.  Then the cave was uninhabited for some time and people returned to it again about 70 thousand years BC.

At the end of the day, visit an interesting natural attraction: the Dragon's Mouth Waterfall. You have to go to the Monastery village, which is located on the opposite bank of the Mzymta River. There is a parking near the riverbank where you can park your car, cross the river over the bridge and then walk under the overpass of the 900-meter expressway. There are ticket desk at the entrance to the gorge. The ticket price is 200 rubles.

The Dragon's Mouth Waterfall is located in a giant rock bowl (circus), which ends in a small gorge formed by the Gluboky Yar River. The river has two channels. Both channels fall into the bowl of the gorge with high waterfalls. A secondary riverbed flows along the surface of the cliff and falls down in a waterfall of 40 meters. If you go deep into the stone bowl, you will see a cave with dark blue water. This is the Mouth of the Dragon. The sound of another waterfall can be heard inside the cave.
