    Bashkara Glacier

Gorge of the Adyl-Su river, Elbrus Area National Park, Caucasus and Black sea

The tongues of the Bashkara glacier descend from three mountain peaks: Jantugan (4012 m) Bashkara (4162 m) and Ullu-Kara (4302 m). The pyramidal peak of Jantugan is on the left. Bashkara Mountain with three small teeth on the top is located in the center. The highest of them, Mount Ullu-Kara, is on the right. It has a domed top. All its slopes are covered with hanging glaciers all year round.
