The pedestrian boulevard of Paralia begins near the Southern Avenue. Its length is exactly 1 kilometer. It connects the residential areas of Vityazevo with the Central beach and the pier. It`s always crowded here. During the day, people go to the beach, and in the evening they walk, sit in numerous restaurants and cafes.
The official name of Paralia Boulevard is Chernomorskaya Street. However, the Vityazevo city authorities are developing an ancient Greek theme in the city, so the pedestrian zone was named Paralia. Translated from Greek, "Paralia" means "Embankment".
An arch in the ancient Greek style is installed at the beginning of the boulevard. Next to the arch is the Byzantium Amusement Park with children`s attractions. The Olimpia water park is also located near Paralia Boulevard, but from the beach side. It is called Olympia and ancient Greek sculptures are installed along it, as well as at the exits to the beach. Art objects are installed throughout the boulevard.
From the beach, Paralia Boulevard stretches in a straight line, but closer to the Southern Avenue it deviates to the left. There are many playgrounds near the beach on the boulevard. There are many small cafes and souvenir shops along the boulevard.
