The campsites of the Nikola-Lenivets Art Park are located near a small pond in the village of Koltsovo. 500 meters to the south is the village of Nikola-Lenivets. The need to create campsites appeared with the development of the Arkhstanding festival. The first festival in 2006 was attended by about 500 people, and in 2022 more than 10 thousand visitors came to it.
The Arkhstanding Festival is a festival of land art and landscape art objects. Of course, there are entertainment programs on it, but mostly creative people gather here. They don`t come here to dance or drink beer. It is a place for the exchange of creative ideas and their joint implementation.
The increase in the number of visitors required the organizers to create campsites, as well as the development of catering. The village of Nikola-Lenivets is located on the slope of a hill that descends to the bank of the Ugra River. There is no place to accommodate so many people. For camping in the Nikola Lenivets Art Park, they chose a place 500 meters north of the village. There are wide fields for tens of hectares. To the east of the pond, they usually celebrate Shrovetide, build various installations, which are then burned.
The only Ugra restaurant in the park has been built near the pond in the camping area. However, it can only serve people coming here on ordinary days. If you are going to the festival, then you need to bring food and tents with you. 99% of the people who come to the Arkhstanding festival live in tents.
Near the pond to the north of the village of Koltsovo, several mobile homes have appeared in recent years, as well as spherical houses for glamping. Most of Nikola-Lenivets` art objects are located in these places.
