The forest area where the terraced paths are laid is called the Healing Park of the Hot Spring, although in many guidebooks there is another name "Resort Park". It covers an area of more than 10 hectares; however, it concerns only about well-maintained routes. They turn into forest trails, along which you can walk tens of kilometers.
A Triumphal Arch is installed on the left side of the Hydrotherapy building on the Alley of a Thousand Pines. It is a symbolic entrance to the Healing Park. After walking 100 meters further, you will see the Adyghe pillar. This is a fragment of an ancient Byzantine column with inscriptions in Arabic. It is installed in honor of Prince Hapach Lukshuk of Bzhedubsky.
From the Adygea pillar, the road leads through the dense deciduous forest of the Healing Park to the Mineral Glade. Rocky remnants of sandstone overgrown with moss are visible in different parts of the forest, which makes the path very picturesque. On Mineral Glade you will see the Iveron Chapel. Be sure to go inside to see the interior of the chapel, carved into the rock.
Dante Gorge begins near the chapel - the most beautiful section of the Healing Park of the Hot Spring. This mystical place is very impressive. In a narrow gorge that rises up the slope, stairs steps are cut through. The length of the gorge reaches 100 meters, and the height of the rocky slopes above it is 15 meters. The stones are covered with moss and cut with numerous inscriptions.
At the top of the Dante Gorge, walking trails begin. If you are in good physical shape and ready for exercise, you can walk to Klyuchevaya Mountain. The distance from the entrance to the Healing Park to the top of the Klyuchevaya is 3 kilometers, with a climb of 350 meters. In the vicinity of Klyuchevaya Mountain there is a Mirror Rock and Psechiako Waterfall. They are still 1.2 km away. The farthest point for such a walk is the top of Mount Sapun (417 m), it offers a beautiful view of the surrounding forests and rocks. For a walk to Mount Sapun, you need to plan most of the day. During this time, you will walk about 10 kilometers with large height differences.
Most tourists are not ready for such loads, so they choose a circular route. After climbing to the upper platform of the Dante Gorge, they turn to the river and go to another famous attraction of the Healing Park - the Cockerel Rock. This is a rocky massif with a crest that really looks like a cockerel crest.
From the Cockerel Rock you can go down to the embankment of the Psekups River. There is a suspension Bridge of Hope (it is also called the Bridge of Lovers). You can use it to cross the Psekups River to look at the Cockerel Rock from the opposite bank.
