    Mount Jantugan

Gorge of the Adyl-Su river, Elbrus Area National Park, Caucasus and Black sea

Mount Jantugan is one of the peaks of the Main Caucasian Mountain Range. Its height reaches 4,012 meters above sea level. It has a beautiful pyramidal shape from the side of the gorge of the River Adyl-Su. The northwestern slope of the mountain is covered by the Bashkara Glacier. The meltwater of the glacier formed Lake Bashara at the foot of the mountain.
