The Park of Partisan Glory named after Minay Shmyrev is dedicated to the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. The bronze sculpture depicts Minay Shmyrev at full height, armed and ready for battle. The pedestal bears inscriptions reminding visitors of his contribution to the fight against fascism.
2. Memorial to the Partisans – The park features a memorial dedicated to all the partisans who fought on the territory of Belarus. This monumental composition consists of several sculptural groups depicting partisans in battle, as well as civilians who supported them.
3. Alley of Memory – The Alley of Memory is a pathway lined with plaques bearing the names of partisans and underground fighters who died during the war. Each plaque tells the story of a hero who gave their life for their homeland.
4. Minay Shmyrev Museum – The park houses a museum dedicated to the life and heroism of Minay Shmyrev. The museum`s exhibits include personal belongings of the commander, documents, photographs, weapons, and other artifacts related to the partisan movement. Special attention is given to the history of the "Farther Minay" detachment, its military operations, and its role in the liberation of Vitebsk.
The museum also features interactive exhibits that allow visitors to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of wartime. Here, you can see reconstructions of partisan dugouts, hear stories about life in the forests, and learn about the challenges faced by the partisans.
