Sanatoriums of Tskaltubo

Most of the center of Tskaltubo is occupied by a huge Tskaltubo Park. In the center of it is the famous Spring No. 6, which is called Stalin`s. During the Soviet period, 19 sanatoriums were built around Tskaltubo Park, as well as several hotels. All of them impressed with their monumentality. In other famous balneological resorts of the USSR, such as Kislovodsk or Pyatigorsk, there was no such infrastructure.
