Silver Beach on Cape Aya is located 3 kilometers east of Balaklava. This is the closest beach from Balaklava Bay, so it is often called the Nearest Beach. It is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. There are sun beds and canopies. The beach is covered with small pebbles, so it is most comfortable to rest and swim on it.
Considering the proximity of the Silver Beach from Balaklava, the cost of a place on a boat is the cheapest: only 100 rubles per person. Delivery to Fig Beach or Jasper Beach at Cape Fiolent costs 300 rubles per person. In summer, a lot of people go to Silver Beach, so there are always a lot of boats that take tourists to the beach or pick them up from the beach.
The length of the Silver Beach at Cape Aya is 250 meters. Golden Beach is just as big, but there is a high shore coming close to the water. Wild Fig Beach is located among the rocks, but it is small in size.
If you are going to Silver Beach, be sure to plan walks along the Great Sevastopol Trail. Here you will see the most beautiful landscapes among the juniper and pine groves of the Cape Aya Nature Reserve. Right on the Silver Beach, there is a path which you can climb to the lower Sevastopol trail. Climb the steep slope for about 200 meters
Having climbing the slope from the beach to the trail, it is most interesting to walk to the Gray Rock, which is located 700 meters east of the beach. The trail stretches along the seashore and very beautiful landscapes open up around every turn. Cape Aya can be called one of the most picturesque corners of the Crimean Mountains. Here the trail for trekking through the mountains passes directly near the sea.
