The trail Forest World of Meshchera begins at the Russian Farmstead Museum in the village of Tasinsky. The length of this circular trail is 3 kilometers, and it is part of a museum complex created on the territory of the Meshchera National Park. The trail is located in a swampy area, but most of the way you can walk on a wooden deck.

The auto road that connects the city of Gus-Khrustalny and the village of Tasinsky is laid along the huge Gusev swamp.  There are two more trails of the national park near the village of Erlex, and in the village of Tasinsky there is an interesting Museum Russian Farmstead. It is made in the form of an ancient Russian settlement surrounded by a wooden stockade. The Forest World of Meshchera Trail begins right behind it.

The trail is laid in the form of a ring. There is a stone with an inscription " If you go to the left, you will get into the world of fairy tales, if you go to the right, you will get into the world of nature ». It is installed at the entrance to trail. If you go to the left, then there are various art objects from Russian fairy tales installed for 1.5 kilometers: Ryaba Chicken, Ilya the Muromets and Gorynych the Snake, Ruslan and the sorcerer Chernomor, Baba Yaga and geese-swans. In total, there are more than a dozen art objects installed here, which makes the trail interesting for children to visit.

Another part of the Meshchera Forest World trail is dedicated to the nature of the National Park. There are animal figurines and stands where you can read about the flora and fauna of the local forests. The trail passes through both coniferous and mixed forests. There are no dangerous swamps here, although the area along the Buzha riverbed near the village of Tasinsky is swampy.
