Wales attractions

The UK is divided into 4 large regions, which are called "Countries" or "provinces". Wales is located in the South-Eastern part of the island. There are many castles and beautiful nature.

Despite its small size, there are a lot of medieval castles in Wales that were built by the English after the conquest of Wales. The most interesting ones are Caerphilly, Cardiff, Carnarvon and Conwy. 

In Wales, you can visit the beautiful Snowdonia and Brecon Beacons national parks. There are a huge number of picturesque lakes, rivers, valleys, forests, waterfalls and mountain ranges. There are interesting routes for trekking along them.
