The Western beach is the widest beach in Zelenogradsk. Its width in some places reaches 70 meters and further sand dunes rise above it. If there is a strong wind, then you can hide from it among these dunes. There are also larch breakwaters on the western beach, but the distances between them are much greater than on the Central Beach.

This beach is located on the western outskirts of Zelenogradsk. There is a pedestrian promenade, as well as a bicycle path. The distance from the Pump Room of Queen Louise is 2 kilometers. It is relatively far away for walking, but by bike you can get there in a few minutes.

The western beach can be called the best beach in the city limits of Zelenogradsk. There is a clear sea, a gentle entrance on the sand and for swimming you do not need to go far from the shore, as on the Frying Pan Beach. If you go even further west, Malinovka Beach will begin there (near Malinovka railway station), but in fact it is a single beach area of Zelenogradsk. There are several restaurants on the West Beach.
