Kungur Ice Cave, located in the mountains of the southern Urals, is one of the most remarkable natural attractions in Russia. In the initial halls of the cave, ice stalactites are preserved all year round. On the way from Perm, you can stop at the Belogorsky Monastery.

If you are in Perm and you have the opportunity to go on a long excursion, then the Kungur cave will be the first item on this list. From Perm, head south towards the city of Kungur. The distance between the cities is 100 kilometers. On its outskirts in the village of Filipovka is the entrance to the Ice Cave.

After visiting the Kungur Ice Cave, plan a stop at the Belogorsky St. Nicholas Monastery. The distance between them is 77 kilometers. In the village of Kazaevo, turn right towards the village of Kalinino. Belogorsky monastery is located on the top of the mountain. It is called the Ural Athos.
