The city of Pushkin Hills is located in the south of the Pskov region. This is one of the most picturesque places in the north-west of Russia. In the 19th century, it was the estate of the great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin, as well as his relatives and friends. Here is also the Svyatogorsky monastery, where he is buried. In all the estates of the Pushkin Hills, associated with the life of Pushkin, museums have been created.

Head south from Pskov to the Pushkin Hills, which are 110 kilometers away. Start your tour with a visit to the Svyatogorsky Monastery. After that, go to the Trigorskoye Estate, where the Wulf family lived, with whom Pushkin was almost daily. Next to it is the Hillfort of Voronich. You need to cross a deep ravine. The hillfort offers very picturesque views.

After the hillfort of Voronich, head to the Mikhailovskoye estate, where Pushkin lived. Make a short stop at Savkina Hill. Here you will see very beautiful landscapes. Then go to the main house of the Mikhailovskoye estate, where Pushkin lived. After visiting it, take a walk around the picturesque surroundings.

Near the Mikhailovskoye estate there is a small museum of wooden architecture in Bugrovo, where the life of the peasants is recreated. After the Mikhailovskoye estate, you can go to the Petrovskoye estate. There lived the Hannibals, Pushkin's relatives.

It is impossible to visit all the estates and places in the Pushkin Hills described in this route in one day. It is better to plan a trip to the Pushkin Mountains for at least 2 days. There are hotels where you can stay.
