Aktry Mountaineering camp

Aktry Glaciers, Altay, Siberia and Far East

The Aktry Mountaineering camp was founded in the valley of the Aktry River at the foot of Mount Karatash at an altitude of 2150 m above sea level. It was founded by the famous glacier researcher Mikhail Tronov in 1936.
