The Apollo cable car allows skiers and tourists to climb to a height of 2,839 meters. This is the highest point on the northern slope, which can be reached by a ski lift. There is an viewing point with beautiful views of the valley of the Arkhyz River. Gobulu-Chat Mountain (3046 m) rises above the upper station of the cable car.
In winter, there are more skiers on the northern slope, since the sun does not soften the snow here, as on the southern slope, and the slopes are more spacious. And in summer, tourists come up here to walk around the surroundings and enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Previously, it was the highest point of the lifts in Arkhyz, but in 2023 the Orbita lift was built on the southern slope, which allows you to climb to Moskovsky Peak at a height of 3061 meters.
The viewing point near the upper station of the Apollo chairlift is located at the edge of the mountain plateau, where the «Gravity» red ski trail begins. From here you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Moon Glade and the valley of the Arkhyz River towards the Phia mountain pass. At this point, the Dukka River flows into the Arkhyz River. There are two popular hiking routes to Lake Seven-colored and to the Small Dukka Lakes.
