Baydar Gate

Foros, South, Russia

The Baydar Gate is located at the highest point of the Baydar Pass, which connects Yalta and Sevastopol. In 1848, a road was built here that connected the coast of Southern Crimea with the central regions of Crimea. After the completion of the construction of this road, the Baydar Gate was built on the Baydar Pass, which became a historical monument.
