The Beach at Kiselev rock is located on the Eastern side of Kiselev rock. The entrance to the water is quite difficult, since the beach is covered with large pebbles, and you will have to go into the sea on stones. However, the beauty of the surrounding landscape and the ability to climb on the marl slabs compensate for these disadvantages.
Naturally, we are not talking about the fact that you should come to the beach at Kiselev rock every day to swim and sunbathe. A trip to these places can rather be considered as a fascinating excursion to see this wonderful natural monument and walk around of Kadosh forest.
Descending from the Eastern slope of the cliff, you get to the beach directly under the rock. This is where most tourists bathe. Then you can walk along the beach to the spit consisting of marl slabs that are accessible to walk on. They are located in the surf zone, so the rocks are polished by water and look very beautiful.
As you know, marl slabs consist of clay and carbonate (calcite or dolomite). Depending on the impurities, they can be of different colors, and on the beach near the Kiselev rock, you can see the rock, which consists of plates of different colors: white, black, greenish and brown.
Further, beyond the spit, which consists of marl slabs, there is another beach more than 200 meters long. There are almost no people on it. Sometimes nudists swim and sunbathe here. On one of the rocks, you can see a rope. You can climb with it up into the pine forest. There is a campsite for people who like to relax with tents.
There is also a beach on the Western side of Kiselev Rock, but it is quite difficult to get down there from the rock. These places are called Mouse Holes, because there the waves of the surf have made depressions in the rocks in the form of grottos.
