The Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ in the Ryazan Kremlin looks very modest next to the huge Assumption Cathedral. However, it is the oldest stone church in Ryazan and the main church of the Ryazan diocese. The Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ was initially called the Assumption Cathedral.
