The Central Square of Tuapse is located at the foot of the Hill of Heroes on the seashore. In the center of the square there is a monument to the Fighters for the Power of the Soviets, so this square is also called the October Revolution Square. There are some other monuments here and park zones have been created. There are several restaurants and cafes in the houses on the square, so there are always a lot of people here.

To the northwest of the Central Square of Tuapse is the Hill of Heroes. This is the hill where the Velyaminovsky fort was founded in 1838. The city of Tuapse was formed around it. Between the square and the Hill there is a small park with a Stone Flower Fountain. Near this square you can see the building of the Palace of Culture, built in the style of Soviet constructivism. Sculptures of sailors and workers are installed in front of it.

In the north-western side of the square near the monument to the local fish Horse Mackerel begins Sycamore Alley. The plane trees on this alley were planted in 1913. Now their giant crowns rise above the walking alley.

In the center of the Square there is a monument to the Fighters for the power of the Soviets. It is made in the form of a high stele with a granite base and bas-reliefs. There is a light and music fountain in front of the monument. It is made in the form of three fountains without a bowl. You can approach the water jets.

On the east side of the Central Square rises a huge tower, similar to those that can be seen at airports. It is called the VTMS Tower (Vessel Traffic Management Service). It performs the same function as the towers at airports, controls the movement of ships in the Cargo port of Tuapse. Its terminals are located at the foot of the tower.

Near the seashore, the Central Square of Tuapse is crossed by the Marine Boulevard, and behind it is the embankment of Tuapse.  It is impossible to swim here, as there are port terminals nearby. The beaches of Tuapse are located across the river, on the eastern side of the city.

There is a Memorial dedicated to the WWII on the Central Square of Tuapse. In its center there is a Column of the city of Military glory. There is an alley of Heroes of the Soviet Union born in Tuapse near it.
