Changling Tomb

Changling Tomb is the first, largest, and best-preserved imperial burial site among the Thirteen Tombs of the Ming Dynasty. Located at the foot of the main peak of Tianshou Mountain in Changping District, 44 kilometers northwest of Beijing, this tomb is the architectural dominant of the entire necropolis and a must-see for a first acquaintance with the imperial heritage of the Ming Dynasty.
