Ming Tombs

The Ming Tombs (Ming Shisanling) are a grand necropolis where, on an area of more than 40 square kilometers, thirteen emperors of one of China`s greatest dynasties rest. This complex, located 44 kilometers northwest of central Beijing at the foot of the Tianshou Mountains, is the largest in the world and the best-preserved ensemble of imperial burial sites.
