Chengdu People`s Park

People`s Park of Chengdu is not just a green area in the center of the metropolis, but the true heart of the city, where the authentic life of Sichuan`s residents unfolds. Founded in 1911 on the site of a former Qing dynasty fortress, it became the first public park not only in Chengdu but in the entire Sichuan Province, and today it covers an area of more than 112,000 square meters.
