The embankment of Sudak stretches along the entire Sudak Bay. Its length reaches 2 kilometers. Sand and pebble beaches are arranged here for all two kilometers. The entrance to the water is very flat, that makes Sudak one of the best resorts on the southern and eastern shores of Crimea for beach holidays with children.
There are sandy beaches in Crimea on the western coast of Crimea, and pebble beaches predominate on the eastern and southern shores of Crimea. From the east, the beach area of Sudak is bounded by the Alchak mountain cape, and in the west the Fortress Mount rises above the city, where the Genoese Fortress is located.
There are many restaurants and cafes along the entire two kilometers on the Sudak embankment. A large part of the territory that borders the embankment is occupied by two sanatoriums: "Sudak" and the Sanatorium of the Ministry of Defense. Free entry to their territory is prohibited. Between the sanatoriums there are areas of urban area, where there are many hotels and places for entertainment.
The most noisy parties in the evening take place in the area of the Central beach of Sudak, as well as on Mojito Beach. It is located at the foot of the Fortress Mountain, outside of urban area. This is the only paid beach of Sudak with a large territory, sun loungers, tents for relax.
Near Cape Alchak there is a Water World aqua park. On the sandy beach in front of it there are always a lot of vacationers with children who swim in the sea and visit the water park. A diverse infrastructure has been created here for the entertainment of children. From here it is convenient to walk along the paths on Cape Alchak and watch the Aeolian Harp.
