Icon of Christ in Lower Arkhyz

The Icon of Christ at the Alan settlement in the village of Lower Arkhyz can be seen by climbing the stairs to the mountain slope. This icon was painted with tempera on a flat stone slab, at a height of about 100 meters. It was discovered in 1999, and the time of painting most likely dates back to the 10th century.
