Northern Demerdzhi Mountain is located at a considerable distance from the most famous attractions of Demerdzhi, which are visited daily by hundreds of tourists. These places are visited only by real lovers of hiking, but there are also very beautiful places, mountain valleys and alpine meadows.

Most of the tourists who come to Demerdzhi visit only the Valley of Ghosts, some of them go up to Mount Alenga, where there are also beautiful weathering rocks. Units go to the Southern Demerdzhi Mountain, where you can see the Valley of Ghosts from above. The length of the route from the Valley of Ghosts to the Southern Demerdzhi is 2 kilometers. The climb on this route is very significant – 330 meters.

It is almost impossible to visit all the most interesting places on Demerdzhi (Valley of the Ghost, Alenga, Southern Demerdzhi), including Northern Demerdzhi, in one day. The total distance of the hike will be about 25 kilometers. If you have the opportunity to take a tent with you, then after visiting all the attractions in the Southern Demerdzhi area, you can also stay overnight here. It is better to go to the Northern Demerdzhi the next day. If this is not possible, then you should refuse to visit the Northern Demerdzhi.

The distance from the Village of Luchistoe to the Northern Demerdzhi is 6 kilometers with an altitude of 700 meters. Along the way, you can see other attractions of Demerdzhi (Valley of Ghosts, Alenga and Southern Demerdzhi). The distance from the Angarsk pass is the same 6 kilometers with a climb of 800 meters. Most of the road goes through a beech forest, where there is nothing interesting.

The height of the Northern Demerdzhi Mountain is 1359 meters. It consists of sandstone, so there are no such beautiful weathering rocks as on the Southern Demerdzhi. But on the Northern Demerdzhi you can admire beautiful views of the mountains and valleys. From May to July, a huge number of flowers of all kinds, including very rare ones, grow in these places.
The main attraction in the area of the Northern Demerdzhi Mountain is the Visor Rock (Sarpa-Kaya).  The height of its sheer cliff is 200 meters. A large pine grove grows at the top of the Canopy. From here you can go to the plateau, which is called Demerdzhi-Yaila. This is an alpine meadow covered with a variety of flowers.

MAN Cave is also located here. It is open to the public at any time. The word MAN means the Small Academy of Sciences, which was attended by children who found this cave in 1963. The total length of the MAN cave is 168 meters. It has two levels. During excavations in the cave, fragments of pottery from the 6th century were found. Animal bones and the skull of a cave bear were also found here. Perhaps ancient people could have lived in this cave.
