Old Town Square of Prague

The Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí) is the central square of the historic part of Prague and, perhaps, one of the most famous city squares in Europe. For more than a thousand years, it has remained the focus of city life: kings were crowned here, rebels were executed, fairs were held, and today millions of tourists come here to see the famous astronomical clock and feel the breath of the Middle Ages.
