The open exposition of the Museum Complex in Patriot Park is located in front of the pavilions of the Museum of the Armed Forces of Russia. Military equipment is located here, which cannot be placed indoors due to its large size. The sites of the Patriot Park`s open Exposition are dedicated to different branches of the armed forces and types of weapons.
The largest open exposition of Patriot Park is dedicated to armored troops. Here you can look at the evolution of technology over the past decades. Tanks (T-64, T-72, T-80), armored personnel carriers, infantry fighting vehicles, military vehicles, refueling equipment, radiation and chemical protection equipment are installed on the site.
There are planes and helicopters on the open exhibition dedicated to the Air Force. Among the aircraft are Su-25T, Su-27, MiG-29, MiG-29UB, MiG-25U, MiG-23, MiG-27. From the helicopters, you can see the light transport Mi-2U, Mi-8MT, heavy transport helicopter Mi-26, as well as attack helicopters Ka-29PL and Ka-28KB.
Of great interest is the equipment at the Strategic Missile Forces site. Here you can see intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM-15A20 and ICBM-15A35). The Cyclone-3 light launch vehicle is designed to launch satellites into orbit. There are also short- and medium-range missile systems on the site.
At the open exposition of Patriot Park dedicated to the air defense forces, you can see all the stages of the development of this technology from the first S-25 complex to the modern S-400 Triumph. There are all the air defense systems that have replaced each other: S-25, S-75, S-125, S-200, S-300, S-400. Also, in addition to missile systems, there are guidance machines and radar detection of targets.
