In the center of Tutaev on the Borisoglebsk side there is an interesting Park of the USSR. It is also called the Park of the Soviet Period. Here you can see the monuments of the Soviet era. The USSR Park in Tutaev can be compared to the Muzeon Park in Moscow, which is also called the Park of Fallen Monuments.

By the early 2000s, there was an abandoned square on this site. It preserves two monuments to the pioneers, which were installed here in the 1950s. They are similar to the ones that used to be in the pioneer camps. The girl gives a salute, and the pioneer stands with a bugle.

In the 2000s, the city administration decided to create an interesting attraction here in Tutaev. The sculptor Alaev made exact copies of the sculptures of the pioneers, but in addition to them, other monuments of the Soviet era were brought here. They stood on the territories of factories, plants and schools.

There are now busts of Gorky, Mayakovsky, Tolstoy, and Lenin monument. There is a bust of the revolutionary Tutaev, after whom the city was named in 1918. In the USSR Park, you can see 4 retro cars of the Soviet era.
