The port of Tuapse can hardly be called an attraction, however, arriving in the city, you will not be able not to see it. The terminals of the cargo port of Tuapse stretch for 3 kilometers in the city center. The port of Tuapse transports oil and petroleum products, fertilizers, grain, coal, ore and other products. Huge bulk carriers and oil tankers up to 250 meters long are moored here.

The construction of the Port of Tuapse began in 1898. In the 1930s, a pier with a length of more than 300 meters was built. After that, the Port of Tuapse became the largest oil loading port in Russia. A total of 19 berths have been built in the Tuapse port.

The Central square of Tuapse and the Marine Boulevard are located inside the water area of the port. The Tuapse bulk terminal is located near the walking alleys of the Marine Boulevard. Numerous railway tracks are connected to it. The tanks of the oil loading terminal are located along the bank of the Tuapse River. The entire territory of the port is closed to the public.

The only attraction of the Port of Tuapse that tourists like to photograph is the port tower. On the east side of the Central Square rises a huge tower, similar to those that can be seen at airports. It is called the VTMS Tower (Vessel Traffic Management Service). It performs the same function as the towers at airports, controls the movement of ships in the Cargo port of Tuapse.
