The Sea Strelna Embankment is located to the west of Konstantinovsky Park, 300 meters from the Meetings Pavilion. However, during the tour of Konstantinovsky Park, it is impossible to go to the embankment. The route of excursions to the residence of the President of Russia is strictly regulated, so if you want to see the embankment in Strelna, then you need to go there from the Travel Palace of Peter I.
The small embankment of the Sea Strelna is a marina for small ships that arrive here from St. Petersburg. It is located near the mouth of the Strelka River, where it flows into the Gulf of Finland. There are always a lot of fishermen here. In 2003, a press center building was built on the Embankment in Strelna, which works during important state meetings.
On the Embankment in Strelna there is a monument to Peter I by Mikhail Shemyakin. This monument is called the "Royal Walk". The first monument to Peter I by Mikhail Shemyakin in grotesque style is installed in the Peter and Paul Fortress. The proportions of the body and head are significantly changed, which causes misunderstanding of many people.
The monument Tsar`s Walk on the Sea Strelnya Embankment depicts Peter I, his wife Catherine I, the royal jester and two greyhounds. Their bodies and heads are also made in a grotesque style with changed proportions: with small heads and large torsos.
