Bank of Oka river in Polenovo estate

Polenovo estate is on a high hill above the Oka river. You can have the most beautiful view of the Oka in Brekhovo. In the village Polenov had a church built, and an overlook is just below the church. You can see the picturesque bend of the Oka from there.

In the estate the Big House is far enough away from the Oka river. A small path going by the Admiralty is leading to the river. By the path you can get directly to the beach. The current is quite fast, however, in summer there are always many swimmers.
