The house of Zheltovskiy is not far from the house of Zyryanov. It also represents a dwelling of a peasant of average means surviving in its original state from the end of the 80th of 19 century.
Zheltovskiy was a craftsman engaged in making oak barrels. In the workshop in the yard you can see tools and devices, as well as materials for barrels.
It is a five-walled house with a traditional layout: a seni, a storeroom, a kitchen, a gornitsa (clean part of peasant’s hut) and a svetelka (a bright room). The logs are rounded and whitened inside the house. On the table near the stove you can see the kitchen utensils made by the host of the house: a tub, a vat, a churn, a pounder etc.
